Today, these impressive features remain intact, as do the tall windows and such solid construction details as three-inch thick plank floors and heavy timbered beam ceilings.

In 1985, the old Bindley building was named to the National Register of Historic Places, and Philadelphia-based developer, Historic Landmarks For Living, acquired the property and spent millions to transform it into a luxurious apartment community.Great care was taken to blend the significant architectural details of the past with contemporary amenities and conveniences.
